If the mother (who has legal custody) takes her child back from the home they had been living in for 18 months (with a relative who had guardianship) without the knowledge or consent of the guardian, is this considered kidnapping or just morally wrong?

I am confused. If the mother has legal custody then technically that relative was not a guardian. (Unless she went to court and had an attorney to get it legalized that they are the guardian) then i hate to say this the mother can do whatever she want. And no it is not considered kidnapping -
