1 out of 166 kids have autism these days with rate going up. What do you think about child vacinations and links to autism?

It is one out of 150 now and it may be linked to vaccinations that used to use mercury. Two doctors, husband and wife were behind on their daughters shots so gave her quite a few a one time and the next day she was different and they attributed to that. I have an autistic granddaughter (severe) she is 7 now and we are not sure what caused it though there is a link between some kids and the herpes virus, some vaccines that used mercury and other possibilities as well. It seems to me that it is not one thing that is causing this but different things affecting babies in different ways. Autism is hereditary as well, so we know that if you are autistic you can also pass these genetics on to your children. I saw a special on tv and this woman is autistic and had a boy and a girl, both are autistic.
