Didn't it come with instructions? First you unzip it Then you lay it out Then you smooth it down with both hands ...so the pole stands erect Shake it until you get all the wrinkles out and it lies flat again :D

What kind and how big. I've seen some real tough ones over the years. I'll probably help but I may need to bring a hammer, extra stakes, etc.
