I've seem some shocking stereotypes of homeless people; what are peoples general opinions on homelessness?

Id say people tend to look at them as dirty and lazy. For some reason I always look at them and try to figure out what went wrong with their lives to put them where they are now.

The worse is they think all homeless people are lazy. Most homeless people do more walking and working trying to find places to live than any single thing. I've been there and wore shoes out on a regular ongoing basis. Try walking 5-10 miles every day carrying all your belongings. It ain't easy and nobody hires you when you carry all that stuff on your back all day. They don't even like you being near them let alone hire you.

I think it's a multi-layered, multi-faceted problem for which there are no hard and fast answers. I've been shocked at some of the stereotyping I've seen right here from people who had previously seemed quite intelligent. Cruel, callous and heartless. It's certainly caused me to rethink my opinion of them and my friendship with them.

I have had some great conversations with holes people. They are people to. Who feel, talk breath and love. I have even had help from the homeless.
