No, I think it's good to put a limit on it. That keeps people from going hog wild and abusing the point system. BUT, and that's a large but, I think the current number is too low. I would like to see it increased from 25 times per week to 70 times per week. That would permit us an average of 10 times per day. We have so many members who will ask over 20 good questions a day and we can't reward them for anymore than 3.57 on the 7 day average. Excellent question by the way. :)

I think it would lead to cheating; but I am here to help not to get points what are they for anyhow - also I had no idea there were limits , I need to read the rules again.

No, as points aren't for the people. They are for the answers and questions, to give them value. If we had unlimited points, we could give too many points to a wrong answer and not help the person that asked the question. They wouldn't know which was the best answer then. SO I think it's fair that we each can give a few points and that we have to use them judiciously towards people's total answers and questions.

I am out of points for 5 people right now. I want to answer their questions, but I want to give them points also. I think we should be able to give unlimited points as long as we answer a question, instead of just being able to blindly positroll.

Yes at times.. Would be nice to give points to all those that have great answers.. But the limits are good keeps it fair.. :)
