A person who dedicates time, effort or money to an event, idea, business or way of making money for charitible or good causes. A certain percentage of the proceeds from businesses, events etc will be spent on covering costs and running these events. In the perfect world 100% would go direct to causes, but these things would not be possible without spending money to make them happen, not everybody works for free. So to make money for good causes you have to spend money. Its exactly like a business only the profits go to a good cause and not to make the rich get richer.
