  • Not me. I have tasted it and it is rankstations. In UK marmite is more popular than vegemite (most likely due to branding rather than flavour) although they are similar products in principle. Yeast Extract. It is salty and very bitter, brown and gloopy with the consistency of partially dehydrated diarrhea. But that is just my opinion, I am not a fan. However it is highly nutritious in that it is a high source of B vitamin complex. Vegemite/Marmite fans usually consume it by spreading onto toast or in sandwiches or stir in a spoonful when cooking stews and soups. Bleugh.
