  • According to the law of physics, the hotter an object is, the shorter the wavelength of light that will dominate its emitted spectrum. Red hot objects are radiating light primarily in the red end of the spectrum. White hot objects are radiating in the middle of the visible spectrum where you are getting a mixture of all the colors.
