The Trotskyist Subterfuge has just sent me this comment:
"be afraid, be very afraid, I'm going to kill you and your family".
I've reported this to the Police(we are in the same country)
Anyone else been threatened on AB.

No... this is a website for crying out loud, and no one knows how to get to me. I take everything people say with a pinch of salt and take it as humour, even if it is a bit poor.

That is pretty heavy. I have not been threatened thankfully. I suspect The Trotskyist Subterfuge didn't mean it, but you can't really be sure without body language and tone. I'm sorry you feel threatened by him. He does seem to write some questionable things sometimes.

To be honest, I doubt whether it has been reported to the police, and I very much doubt they'd take it seriously, though the comment should be removed (by AB staff) Nobody has ever threatened me on here, but I wouldn't take much notice if they did. __________ Edit; I've just been imagining how the conversation would go, A) 'Hi, I'd like to report a threat' B) 'Ok, can I take your name?' He's going to carbomb Central Park you know' B) 'oh dear, anything else, so we can build up a profile?' A) 'he also said if you look out the window on Saturdays, you will see me and a black homosexual Communist orgying with some French sailors.' B) 'This sounds like a tough one...Bob! He is being his uaual nutty self . He has a very sarcastic sense of humour and I am sure he did not mean it as a threat . Though he should be careful who he writes the notes to, if people do not know his humour they can get upset No I have only threatened myself for my appalling typing and lack of knowledge

Oh please...I have found Trot to have a quick wit, a sharp tongue and a sometimes warped sense of humor...all in all an entertaining chap. Nothing to get your knickers in a twist about.
