coming to the door is respectful and shouldn't be just for the first few days... flowers are thoughtful (in the opinion of most women) but not necessary. i think only radical feminists would be offended.

Ithink a corsage would be nice if they're going out to dinner. Chocolate if staying at her place to watch movies, so she can share. If you're going jogging, maybe a bottle of sparkling spring flavored water.

I would be shocked, I never get flowers until I'm dating someone, it has to be a big occassion or they did something wrong, admittedly, I don't ask for the flowers (I think its a pre programmed "forgive me" thing some people do, I'm not huge on flowers, candy, and jewlery (I don't even have an engagement ring)

Not unless the young lady in question hates flowers or has allergies. However, most of the women I know adore flowers.
