chew gum, keep something like a straw with you so you can have that feeling either in your fingers or chew on it, lol if all else fails just take a lot of vicodin :P

sit down make 3 lists 1. why you want to quit 2. why you don't want to quit 3. what you can buy with all the money you will save gives you something to do and all the reasons to to stay strong Do it over and over everytime you start to stress

When I am home I eat sunflower seeds. You keep your hands busy and get to have a snack :)

I dont want to sound pessimistic but you will lose this battle. You may win tonight and even the next couple of days but when you let your guard down at any time in the next 6-10 months, you will at least bum one from somebody. I am a smoker and I've played this game.

I quit smoking last month, it's not so much a willpower but a mindset thing. If your a non-smoker why would you need cigarettes? Sounds weird but it works. It's the basic premise for hypnotherapy and Allen Carr's book, both of which are quite good if you need that extra nudge. Good luck.
