A man attacked Dan Rather in the streets of New York, punching him and shouting , "What's the frequency Kenneth??" because he thought NBC was controlling his brain... :-)

I don't exactly know the meaning, but I have read a story behind the phrase "What's the frequency Kenneth," while back, there was a big time reporter that was attacked (forgot who) and they were sort of beaten up by this crazy guy, and the whole time he was beating the guy up, he kept yelling "what is the frequency Kenneth," I don't believe they ever found out what he meant by it if anything.
