Yes, very much as a kid. I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but you could transfer comics or any print from a newspaper to it and then flatten it and stretch it. It was neato, as we used to say.

I started out on play-doh, but soon I hit the harder stuff. I am into polymer clay now. But I still love the smell of play-doh.
