Why do women lie and make things up to get themselfs out of a predicument?
-
I think all people act like that when caught doing something. Its because they feel a bit humilitated and guilty and try to cover it up rather than accept the fact that they have been caught.

I have a couple of things to say about this question: First of all, I agree that it's silly to be afraid to admit that they were watching porn. But can you blame the poor guy? You act as though it is something that he *should* be ashamed of - which, unless he has an addiction to it, or it somehow negatively influences his behavior toward you, he really should not be ashamed of. I understand as a woman feeling less than comfortable when your guy watches porn, but come on! He's a guy - guys watch porn. And so what if they do? In my opinion, unless there is something really really creepy about it (like illegal child pornography or whatever) or it interferes with your relationship somehow, you shouldn't be acting like his mother or his priest, telling him that it's wrong to watch porn. If I were you, I might even get down and watch it with him to see what he's interested in. Or at the very least talk to him about it, and tell him how you feel rather than attacking him for hit. Jeebus. Porn is no big deal.

Caught out watching porn? Most men are adults and can watch what they like. Apologise? What for? It sounds like you don't like him watching porn, perhaps you should talk to him about it rather than make him feel he has to hide it or apologise for watching it.

Because you act like they did something wrong, when they think they didn't.
