I play World of Warcraft. I like it better because I can play with my friends and meet new people online and it's better with people you don't know b/c they can turn out to be really nice and funny, and if they are mean you can block them and never talk to them again

Used to play Everquest back in the day. Played Dofus (www.dofus.com) which was a lot of fun, it's a strategic RPG that's pretty humorous.

I played Wow for almost 3 years, and enjoyed it alot actually. it is a great game to play with friends and Family. It does however consume alot of time, if you join an End-game guild or the like. I ended up quiting because of the time commitment, but it was a great experience.

I played FFXI for about a year, but found it was becoming too time consuming especially at higher levels and the economy was going crazy in the game, and when the environment in the game begins to reflect the real environment in the world, you begin to realize that you are no longer escaping reality as was your first intent. I can be frustrated with people in real life, I don't need to experience that again in a game meant for entertainment. It essentially became no fun anymore.

I have played: Everquest, Everquest II, Star Wars Galaxies, and am currently playing Vanguard. I also (I doubt that this really falls under the catergory) played The Sims Online. I like Everquest II and Vanguard the best right now. Everquest II for the graphics and Vanguard because it is new, and I like how you really have to think and be smart about your strategies. As for why I like playing the MMO better, I like the social aspect of the games. I have met some really great people in game. Thats also part of the reason for hating the game at times. If you have ever tried for hours to find a group, you know what I am talking about. I almost hate to start this argument here but: I tried to play WoW, but when I realised that my good friend's 4 year old has a lvl 60 something or other (I don't know it's class), I decided it wasn't the game for me.

I've played a whole bunch of MMORPGs, but currently I am playing in the Beta of Lord of the Rings Online, and it is just so much better than the others I tried (including Wow, and EQ), if you want to get one, wait until April and get that one!

We don't get any of the games you guys like where I live. Here in the Philippines, the most popular MMORPG's are Ragnarok, RF online, Tantra, and FlyFF which are all the same really. Why do people like them so much? Well, it's like being in a fantasy world but it doesn't take away the social aspects of the real world. Even though you know you're playing in a fictional setting, you like the fact that the character next to you is in fact a real person. And just like in the real world, you can make and build relationships that way.

Yes, though not as frequently as I used to. I started playing Everquest II about a year and a half ago. My account isn't open at the moment, because I really don't have time to play lately but it's a great game and I've enjoyed every minute that I've spent playing. I've also been playing Guild Wars for about a year. I haven't gotten much into the PvP aspect of the game yet (I still haven't finished the first campaign) but it's been fun as well. I've also played several hundred (at least) roleplaying MUDs (multi-user dungeon or domain) which are text-based games, and while I wouldn't call them MASSIVE (several hundred users at the most) they ARE multiplayer/online.

EverQuest II I haven't played in SO long, and I'm dying to get back but I have very little self control when it comes to online gaming and am likely to get sucked back in to playing 5 and 6 hours per day.

Oh my God, I play SO MANY of them : D I've beta tested dozens, but the only ones I'm -currently- subscribed to are: Planetside (by SOE, website http://planetside.station.sony.com/ ) City of Heroes / Villains (by NCSoft, website http://www.cityofheroes.com/ , http://www.cityofvillains.com/ ) I've also played most, if not all of the major names, such as World of Warcraft, Everquest (1 & 2), etc... And I started with Runescape, lol

Yes, I am currently participating in the beta testing of a MMORPG called 'Football Manager Live'. It is a football (or 'soccer') management game where you create your own team, set out tactics, sign players and compete with others in the game world in competitions. http://www.footballmanagerlive.com/en/article/88/index.html

I'm totally lame, so I just play WoW right now. DAoC was my favorite, but then they released ToA and all the people I started playing with left. Now all that is left are RvR people, and although I know that is the basis of the game, it was still fun to RP with the community. I've tried just about all of them, and the only other game besides WoW that caught my attention was LoTR:online, but I got so tired of the travel system and crafting I quit. Heck, I don't even play with other people on WoW except my husband, but it's something to do.
-
I play or have played: Everquest 1 Everquest 2 Star Wars Galaxies Vanguard Guild Wars (I tried temporarily) Tabula Rasa My favorites are SWG and Vanguard. Though, Vanguard is/was a train wreck, so I don't play it anymore. FYI it's Massive minus the 'ively' part.

I am playing conquer online and zero currently. Cause you know, it is more fun to play games with friends online and I can meet lots of new friends in game. I enjoy the team work. Now, I got many friends that are from USA, Australia, England, Sweden, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Egypt, Japan, Canada, Mexico, etc. Woot! They are all my good friends. And not to say, conquer and zero is so fun to play. Especially, they are free to download and play.
