    Does having alcohol legal help anything? You may as well make it legal then maybe less people would be interested in it, but on the flip side they may change to harder drugs and then it doesn't help at all.

    there are are many things that legalisation of drugs does which benefits society. It would offer employment. They would need people to work on growing the weed then the pharmacies that sell it etc. With more people buying it would put money back in the economy. It woulds reduce organised crime such as trfficiking and the war on drugs, less gangland murders. There are many more benefits.
