Why do non-Black people want permission to say nigger so bad? What will it accomplish?

idk, i'm mixed with black and i don't like to say that word at all.

I have no desire to say that word. For that matter most people I know do not want to but it sure seems that some do. If you ever figure out why, let me know.

I know many (non-)whites who don't care for the word. As for the ones that want to use the word, I've found that: - They usually deal with little to no racism on a daily basis. - Don't care about racism that other races deal with, think it's exaggerated. - Already use the word (in the comfort of their own house) and want to say it in public. - Are already a little racist and could care less. Also, this is not just an N-word problem...you can see this with any race. Whites, Asians, Hispanics, Mixed kids, and every one else in between (other races/nationalities) use racial slurs within their own circles (of the same race/culture/natinality) and become offended when outsiders use it. Generally it's because the context changes and the word becomes a racial slurr and not a joke or slang temr between friends.

I don't understand why anyone would want to use that word and that includes people of colour.

I know very few people who do. When I do run across somebody like that, it's generally because they have been used to treating entire categories of people like dirt their entire lives and are upset that society has moved to the point that they can't do that and always get away with it anymore.

i not asking for permission to say nigger to me nigger can be of any race not just black. my definition of a nigger is a lazy, stupid person who does not want to work and take care of his or her family

The vast majority of non-Black people don't want to say it. They also don't want to hear it.

I don't really understand it why someone would ask for permission if their goin to say it they will say it. Its just racism at its best.
