I was on a special forces base once with my troop doing some training, and one of the guys spotted a fox outside by our accommodation. I decided I would try and catch it, so I quickly went outside in just my shorts, nothing else on, barefoot and started crawling towards this fox really slow. I was about a foot away, a little scared, everyone was quiet, just about to reach out to grab it and the thing just darted off into the trees. Scared the crap out of me.

Yeesh, scary, although attacks are rare. How close was the lion? I've turned a corner on a path on a couple of windy (and therefore noisy) days and come up on deer. Also, raccoons fighting at midnight over one paper napkin with a smidge of ketchup that we'd left out by mistake.

Yeah, a bear. I made some s'mores for us. We sat around the fire and passed a bottle of vodka back and fourth. We just chilled and was shootin' the breeze all night. I couldn't really understand him seeing as how I don't understand grizzly. I have a feeling that he was sad about a female though. He must have been pretty lonely to be hanging out with a human eating s'mores and drinking vodka. But we had a good time.

My 10 year old son was petting a wild raccoon in the woods by our house. He just walked up on it and in no time he was petting it and feeding it. Some friends of his told on him and I went into the woods and got him. I was so mad! I got on the internet and searched raccoon bites and attacks and showed him what those animals were capable of. I also told him about rabies shots. He never did get it through his thick skull that day! Kids! Ha!
