Yes, the ones who only say a couple things just to aggravate you then "run" off. A couple has done that to me. I ignore it and move on :D

They may not have the misconception. But I know of a few point junkies who must ask the silliest of easy to answer questions and some others who answer them just with the points on their minds. May we name them 'point junkies' as they get their high with points here in the Answerbag? Even a new category 'point junkies' could be suggested similar to the 'point fairies'.

some are more addicted than others.... I surely spend my fair share of time on here. I haven't been a member for as long as most so I haven't really noticed anyone dominating as of yet. I still get hit by the trolls though.... most of the time it isn't warranted.

Each member "owns" Answerbag to the extent that he/she participates. If you visit here once a month for half an hour you don't "own" as much of it as those who visit regularly. The more you give the more you get back..just like in the "real" world. Everyone "dominates" AB at one time or another..domination is the result of asking excellent questions, giving excellent answers and making excellent comments and having people respond to your presence. There are some who are here simply to "kill" time..they get back what they give. Just my opinion! Happy Monday! :)

There are a few that seem to like to try to " Dominate" people that have been here a while , I think it makes them feel they have earned their right of passage. I have no idea why. The Legend in their own mind, thing is not as bad as it was when I first came to Answerbag, we certainly had a group of them at that time.

Watching people pretend to dominate a message board/ chatroom/answer site is like watching two fleas arguing over which one owns the dog.
