5,000,000.00 hands down, I would kill my pet for much less then that.

My pet! I have done well enough thus far without $5,000,000 and I'm sure I can go on as I am without it. But I wouldnt want to go on without my cats!

no soapboxes, please. I'd take the money. Pets are wonderful companions, but facing reality, in todays economy... 5 million will get you abour 20 years of living well (even after taxes). The average pet only has a decade, so you'd lose them soon anyway. Take the money and get a few new pets. You have the best of both worlds then.
