  • Ok, is there an agreement between the two of you that you agreed to call the other parent to notify them of the daylight savings time change every year, or every other year?? If not, then no it is not your fault. This happened to me when my daughter was an infant, and I tried calling him 15 minutes past his scheduled pickup time. No answer, and so I went to the store with my daughter and 40 minutes later we came back and he showed up walking around our apt., calling her name. I brought her out to him, and he apologized since he forgot about the time change. Needless to say, you did nothing wrong!
  • Yes, because it's a matter of decency and respect. People do forget and you should have called knowing this was a possibility. You used this to your personal benefit and not your child's. Would you done this to your mother if she was coming to pick up the child?
