I drove a truck for 29 yrs.over 3.5 million miles. I've seen small one car fender benders with fatalities, seen horrendous 20 vehicle pileups with no one getting a scratch...

I guess I've never seen one from the outside. I've been in my share tho...7 of them. All in one summer. Geesh!! I think someone's trying to kill me. I wasn't driving in any of them!

Yes and it really hurt having my jaw set afterwards. Watching that muscle car flying towards my door at 40mph wasn't a hell of a lot of fun either. :/

Yes, I have..wasn't too serious but the lady was stuck in car cause her door jammed and she was all panicky so I had to get her out through the back cause she was sort of out of it and wouldn't move. She wasn't hurt though, just scared.

Yeah... That was the strangest trip to the video rental shop. This car came crashing through the window right through the new release section. Thank god I had been there last week and that minute decided that there wasn't anything worth watching. Still had to do a commando roll though.

A few times. The worst was an 18 wheeler making a lane change and squashing a car. I was two lanes over and right behind doing about 70 mph. Didn't have time to stop. Rescued a couple that slid off the road in a snow storm one time. Just missed it but didn't see it. Now if we talk about my own accidents, there are a couple more. Just bad driving:)

Unfortunately, yes. It IS kind of a shocking thing ... especially when the cars are upwards of 20 or 30 m.p.h.! Parts, glass, and hubcaps flying everywhere ... and that SOUND! Much louder than you'd expect!

Not the actual crash but the immediate aftermath and I'm so sorry I looked...a group of us were at the beach..down a sandy slope from the highway. We heard the horrific sound of tires screeching and then a huge noise of impact..there were about 6-8 of us and we ran up the slope and looked across the way and two cars were smashed with bodies flung out of the cars..I was a teenager and this was before cell phones...I saw someone whose throat had been cut and blood was gushing out..within seconds it seemed police and ambulance were on scene..it is a blur it all happened so quickly. It is all in slow motion...we run up the slope, look across the road, see what is there and then sirens and vehicles are on scene. That was over 50 years ago and I remember every detail of what I saw. :(

I have been hit by a car doing 30 miles per hour while I was on foot. I remember have the most severe headache you could possibly imagine. I was delivering pizzas at the time. Some a--hole I used to work had a smirk on his face and was laughing. Then if I were to punch the kid or hurt him they would lock me up in jail. But I spent a few hours in the hospital. The ladys insurance company came by my house a few days later and gave me a check for $2,815. $,2500 for pain and suffering and $315 for time I lost from work.
