Is it possible to have a male friend that does everything for, calls you more then you call him , gets jealious and even ignores his girl when your there is he just a good friend? or could there be something im not seeing?

There is a very high chance that he likes you more than a friend. Not to sound philosophical but he may not be aware of it himself. But paying more attention to you as opposed to his "partner" seems like he values you more than her. Maybe you need to make a move, if you are interested that is.

perhaps you see more in him or the situation then what truly exist. The old addage; Love is Blind, may exist in your situation. Think about it.

I think that you should talk to him. I am a girl(22) with a best friend who is a guy(22) for atleast 5 years now. At our age, this kind of relationship is not common so open communication with each other and our mates is very important! We have tried the dating thing before, but decided our friendship was too great to risk! TALKING IS KEY! We also have rules when it comes to this too: 1- We let the people we date know exactly what are relationship is and is NOT and are inviting to a friendship with them so that they also feel comfortable. 2- Bfs and Gfs come and go, but best friends are there a lifetime. If the person that we are dating has a clear issue with either of us....they're gone. I dont see this as picking friend over mate, you gotta have someone to talk trash and eat ice cream with!LOL
