How do internet browser companies (like Mozilla) make money?

    Having your little search box in the corner of firefox default to Google? and include Yahoo, Amazon etc.? That made mozilla in the neighborhood of 100 million dollars and counting. 53 million in 2005 alone. To bring it into perspective, before firefox and that little search bar mozilla made about 5.8 million in 2004.
