Sort of for peace sake, BUT there'd have to be some sort of contact plan in place in case of emergency, from either my end or home.

Since I usually go on holiday where everyone that is important to me lives, so being out of contact is not an issue. I do like to be available through internet with my son in Sweden, and my Grandson who usually house/dog sits for me at home. I have been known to unplug the telephone in the motel room, because Grams and Pops often forget I sleep in late, but that's about it.

Yes. As a matter of fact, that is how I usually do it. (lol) I do always have one special contact, of course, whose job it is to contact me in case of any family emergency. But, that's it.

Yes, yes and yes. It is very hard to do, but we try very hard to do that at least a weekend each year.
