  • Depending on the size of the network etc., you may be able to get a dedicated DSL connection between them - the same company that provides internet DSL connection should also be able to provide a private connection between two cities. Another alternative for smaller tasks would be to create a VPN between the two.
  • If you are using Windows XP or later, you can go in to the My Networking or Network Neighborhood and bridge two connections together.
  • Personally I'd setup a linux box on either end and use them to run an IPSEC vpn (IPSEC is used for lan to lan VPNs) Clarkconnect is very good at doing this and even the free version (community edition) gives you free dynamic DNS as standard so it will even deal with non-static IP addresses.
