Luckily those that judge things as 'sinful' are lessening in numbers.

Since "sin" means "missing the mark" and you didn't define what the mark is in the question - leaving it up to the answerer's interpretation - I'm sure that ALL the answers will be undoubtedly . . . Absolutely! No doubt about it! Yes! Yes! Yes! Since human nature is to judge others more harshly than we judge ourselves. Now speaking for myself, and assessing using MY definition of what constitutes "righteousness", I can't recall a period in in my lifetime when people have ever been more self-righteous, judgmental, polarized, opinionated, and less willing to engage in reasoned dialog and consider other perspectives other than their own. And Gossip is at all times highs too - as any checkout newsstand will attest! Finally, everyone seems SO eager to condemn others without gaining understanding of them or their situation first! So Harsh Condemnation seems to be on the rise as well! I see this A LOT in myself and others. Sadly, I say to my shame. And this seems to be true of people groups across the spectrum not just this or that group. Or as they say in the Book of Common Prayer: "Go in peace and pray for me - for I too am a sinner." I can only hope that becomes our stance too.

Christians do not judge anyone, especially those who are not Christians, and then it is only for Christian overseers to keep the Congregation clean. So please do not thnk that I am judging anyone. Mt 7:1 "Stop judging that you may not be judged" 1Cor 5:9-13 "I am writing YOU to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Do YOU not judge those inside, while God judges those outside?.." I do feel that the answer to the question can be found in the Bible though. There are several scriptures that come to mind. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2tim3:1-5;1Tim4:1-3;jude4;rev12:9-12;2Pet2:1-3;&version=77;49;47;78;9;

I think so, but also technology has advanced in a way which communications are more prevalent... i.e. you hear about it more.
-
I do. Not only sin but natural disasters.
-
No I don't. Look at our past, compared to the Romans and the Greeks we are all angelic saints. I also think with modern communications we just here about it more.
-
I don't believe in sin. I believe in unlawful things which aren't good. I also believe in civil disobedience which is good. But sin implies that there is a god out there and I don't buy that.
-
I don't. Firstly, I don't believe in sin. Secondly, the world is much more moral now than it used to be. Sorry, but widespread institutionalized slavery is gone. In many places, you aren't even put to death for praying or believing the wrong way anymore. Thirdly, most of what people complaining about sin categorize as sin isn't even on my list of unethical deeds.
-
Not me. Sin is a subjective topic anyway.
