In London there is a church called Saint Mary-le-Bow. If you are born in London and can hear the church bells in the area where you are born you are a Cockney. The Cockneys have a ceremonial dress for both men and women which are worn on special occasions and they call themselves Pearly Kings & Queens. All their close have mother of pearl buttons sown all over them including their hats. They have a rhyming slang which in a way is a language unique to them. They alter a word into something that rhymes such as Bangers & Mash = Cash, bangers & mash are sausages and mashed potato.

On that I actually use is titfer - tit for tat = hat.

A lot of people used the term "bottle", as in "bottled out" or "gotta lotta bottle" without realising it is rhyming slang - bottle and glass = arse. If you lose yoir bottle, you shit yourself with fear, So having a lot of bottle means being courageous.

Another one I hear in use, but don't use by self, is butchers. From butcher's hook = look.

Then there is Bristols, breasts. From Bristol City = titty.
