It seems that the Western world, after creating a democracy that runs smoothly for them, feel that there is no better government system than the one they have by now factory produce and exported to every country they can. I feel as if, with each country having its own different culture and population make-up, it would be much better if we just allowed countries that wanted to change their government to pull their scholars and their working men together to create a new government (maybe that has never been thought of before) that works best for their country. I feel that this is why Democracy hasn't been working in every country that it has beeen "exported" to because it clashes with the culture and the peoples there. Why did we have to stop at democracy?

Excellent question as this so-called "Democracy" is far from perfect or legitimate! I'm thankful that it's better than some other styles of government that have been around in the past and even now but the gods know there must be something better than this BS we are dealing with now full of lies, deceit, abuse of the people, and covering for the powerful as always.

Democracy is a pretty broad concept. For example, you could call what the United States has as 'democracy', even though the people who elect the elected have absolutely no ability to affect their chosen policies while in office. Social democracy is an advancement, and countries like Bolivia are taking it further in the modern era.

Political Scientists have in no way stopped at democracy. The best explanation for why democracies have flourished is because they just so happen to work quite well. No one is claiming perfection, but there is certainly a good deal of usefulness.

It's a little bit like being upset that historians have stopped at yesterday. Political science has gone from being viewed as the home of the extreme left to being the home of the discredited, to being the home of the irrelevant, which is where they actually were all along. Politics is less of a science than shuffleboard is a sport.

well, i would like to disagree with you there, you see the founding fathers allowed the elastic claus in order so that it wouldn't just stop there at democracy. im not saying to allow socialism, just to allow the government to change
