Maybe they have masochistic tendencies, so they enjoy the punishment of watching their partner enjoying someone else. Alternately, maybe they are reluctant to have sex for some reason (perhaps a mental block or a cleanliness issue), so they receive sexual pleasure vicariously through voyeurism.

i dont know about anyone else, but i dont think i would enjoy seeing my husband sexually excited by someone else.

Those of us that have had the enjoyment of this think the answer is simple. Myself I think it's the fact that my s/o is such a wonderful person and partner that shareing her with others is a treat. For those that frown on this, they need help! They're insecure and jealous, 2 things that distroy relationships.
