Is falling from heaven as painful as survivng the impact?

Hmmmm. Well, the bible states clearly that the underside of heaven is a firmament, but it doesn't say how far up it is. Perhaps it's only a few feet, and it wouldn't hurt at all?

It would not be the fall that would be so painful...it's the sudden stop at the bottom that causes all the damage.

That's one for the devil (or Lucifer). As far as I know he's the only one to have fallen from Heaven, accompanied of course by all the angels who followed him.

I think even worse than the fall and then the impact to find you had to live amongst the impurity, hate and cruely here on earth would be the most painful thing of the three
