try going to bed early.

Set your alarm and put it on the other side of the room so you have to get up to turn it off. And then get directly into the shower. Works for me. had the same problem.

Try getting caffeine pills. You can get pure caffeine pills, and you can get them in different sizes, so if you feel like you need a kick in the morning, just have a pill or two when you wake up, and you won't want to go back to sleep after a little while. They're 100%, and some brands have less caffeine per tablet than say, a can of coke.

I do meditation. It makes me refreshed in the morning, and guess what? All you have to do is be on a comfortable surface (a.k.a bed) and close your eyes. Then you tense (squeeze) and release (unsqueeze) the parts of your body, starting from your toes to youtr shoulders. You can buy tapes of meditation, or just download Audicity (free) and record your own voice over soothing music.

Take a nap during the day or meditate for 20 minutes. It relieves stress, and you will sleep better.

I have had this problem too, caused me to fall behind almost two years in school!! Have you though about taking online classes? This way you can do your work at your own time. Even if you can't get ll your classes online, atleast you wont have to get up so early. Just register your classes on campus for later in the day. If this is not an option for you settign different alarms on the other side of the room helps to. This gets you out of the bed and walking around. Use like you cell phone, alarm clock, there are online alarm clocks, the tv and your radio! WOW! I wrote alot, I hope this helps. Good Luck to you.

I used to have trouble getting up for paper round. Don't laugh I used to put a wet flannel by my bed the night before and when my alarm went off I used to rub it over my eyes to wake me up. I was such a sleepyhead in those days. Also, I put my alarm on a tin tray with pebbles on so it rattled as I used to sleep through the alarm too!

Exercise When you sit in class and while studying, your body gets to rest. At night you don't kick into that good deep sleep. Also be caught up and reading ahead. Stress can be a killer for trying to sleep.

There's one thing I know, that will make you run away from your bed! Have you heard how sharp and high volume do those smoke/fire alarms have? Like 75db or so, you'll be deaf in a second if you won't turn it off. Well, try to find an alarmclock with really high sound or hold an smokedetector near your bed, so when alarm goes on, you take the smokedetector and press the Test button, your eyes won't close 3h or so after that..

You need to ask yourself some questions like is your bed worn out? Is your routine becoming the same ole same ole? Are your priorities in life lined up correctly? Are you stressed over something else? I would also speak with a doctor or a sleeping disorder clinic they might be able to help you.
