  • Could be trash or water in the gasoline. buy a can of dry-out, at auto zone, and see if it helps. what have you got to lose?
  • Check the crank shaft sensors...Worked at a Cadillac dealership for two years, and had to replace multiple crank shaft sensors for that very reason...If the crank shaft sensor loses signal, it won't fire or inject fuel
  • I had this same problem with my 1999 Honda Accord for many years! Finally the new service manager had the tech set the engine to a higher revolution - hasn't been a problem since.
  • have you ever put any gas additive to the car I had this prob with a ford pick up once would just die for no reason and at any time made me nuts turns out that when I took off the top to the gas additive that white thing under the cap fell in so when this would roll infront of the gas pick up in the tank when I was crusing this thing would get sucked up to the pickup and cap off the intake the car would stop I would cost to a stop wait a few seconds and it would start back up it didnt happe all the time just wehn that top rolled in front of the gas pickup in the tank no one could figure out what it was till one day I took out the tank and with a flash light I saw that littl bugger in there I removed it and never had the prob again I hope this helps because I know how frestrading it is
