  • I don't know if this will answer it, but I absolutely love hot weather. Like eighty to a hundred degrees. It's just what I'm used to and nothing else feels right. Maybe it's like that with cold weather. When you're used to it, your body stays used to it and you miss it when you're away.
  • I hate the cold , the weather here is very mild and spring seems to be here but it is forecaste to turm colder again. I just want to snuggle down and never go outside when it is cold
  • I detest cold weather. It's just my luck to have been born in the north. The wind chill factor makes it feel like 30 below zero today. At least I'm warm, but housebound.
  • I'm from the deep south... middle Georgia. I don't always love the humid 100+ degree temperatures here, but I will take them any day over the cold. I think it's just what you are used to, although some people will never like it. I knew a lady who had to move south because she would develop hives every winter when the temperatures dropped in Ohio. I'm right there with you... I once visited Buffalo NY and Niagra Falls during the first week in January... I was miserable. I thought the snow would be fun and nice to experience, but I was unprepared for the incessant cold. Snot would freeze on your upper lip, your toes were perpetually numb, and you had to wait until the roads were scraped and salted to go anywhere. Every day I was there I would spend 2 hours on average in a hot bathtub of water just to get warm.
  • I don't think that alot of us love cold, it is probably that we have had to get used to it, because it just isn't going to go away! I have lived in the South, and in the West, the difference, is one is hot and muggy, and one is cold and wet, but not frozen very often. I love the heat, but the West Coast, is my home, so I put up with it! :)~
  • LOL The cold isn't that bad. You just have to think of all the fun things to do in winter. Here in Alberta Canada, we have more winter then summer so we make the best of it. Some of my favorite childhood memories are sledding at my parents with my brothers and sisters. We would slide to the bottom of a big hill and my oldest brother would come along with the Skidoo and pull us all back up to the top so we could do it over again. Or we would go to the local tire store and buy a gaint inner tube, we could all pile on it and get pulled behing the Skidoo. We make our own ice rinks here on our lawns in the winter, and all the neighborhood kids come over and skate. We even roast hot dogs here in the winter. We build gaint snow forts and gaint snowmen, and when we are done for the day nothing tastes better then some hot chocolate. You just have to dress for the cold, and enjoy it!
  • you shud try living in london then like me. the hottest it gets all year is about 10 degrees
  • I love the cold, I'm from Michigan I miss t there visiting soon, Cant wait to see all the snow!
  • I am naturally born to like the cold.
  • I don't mind the cold as much as I thought I would. As long as it's above 20º I'm ok, it's just when I do stupid things - like keep the windows open.
