  • no i havnt i would be to embarrased to do that anyway. omg do people really do that
  • Yes I have asked for the meat and bones from plates to take home to my foxes. The staff have always been very amenable and my foxes very grateful in the ice and snow
  • I see nothing wrong with taking food home, anywhere or at anytime. I am not a wasteful person, you or someone else could have it for a snack later or the next day. Like someone said feed the animals if you like, but to just throw it away that to me is a sin in it self. There is just to many people or animals hungry to be so wasteful.
  • I'm confused. Is this something that doesn't happen often in the UK? Are you guys over there big food wasters? I've worked in US restaurants all my life, and just about everyone takes what they didn't finish home in a box. Seriously, y'all don't?
  • I've done it often in the UK, no problem.
  • Why would anyone in the UK give dirty looks? Do they have a hungry dog in the kitchen who is looking for supper? Food is food and if you can't eat it when presented to you, it is not a crime to take it home for later consumption. If you let your unfinished meal of which it tastes good and fine end up in the trash, that is a bloody waste. Sometimes the restaurants in the US give such large portions that you would need several stomachs to fit the amount they pile on a plate. No wonder we are all so sick and fat.
