  • As long as the other person can show proof that the firearm is theres then yes he can claim posession! if he has no proof then i guess it would come down to you as its in your house! if your pal hasent got proof then id get rid! otherwise your going to have a possession of a deadly weapon against you! and if your already a felon then you will no doubt have a firearm ban so i guess you should get rid!
  • you might try this excuse, but i doubt if any police officer would buy it. This other person must not think much of you, knowing a firearm anywhere around you, would violate your probation.
  • YES! Get rid of it!
  • NO. I know a convicted felon who I suggested that he get a gun for protection. He said NO MATTER whose it is, if he's found near it, 10 years minimum. He did about that much time in jail. Would it be worth it?
