Has there ever been a NFL game where the final score was 2-0 (the lowest possible score)?

    0-0 would be the lowest score. It has happened several times...the last being in 1943 between the Giants and Lions.

    Actually the lowest possible score is 0-0. With no team scoring in regulation or overtime since in the regular season there is only one 15 minute sudden death quarter. And to answer joseph2493 a game can not end 1-0 a safety no matter how it happens is worth 2 points. The only way to get one point is a PAT (point after touchdown).

    This is actually not the lowest possible score. This is lowest probable score. Although I don't know the details of the play, there is the possiblity of only receiving 1 point for a safety. It has to do with a punt blocked. If there is a referee who reads this maybe they could elaberate.
