Women, if you're walking towards a man that you think may be threatening or dangerous, and you had your purse on your side closest to them, would you switch it to the other side? Anyone can answer.

++ good question. I actually do that whether I feel "threatened" or not. I could be about to pass a 90 year old woman, and I move my purse to the other side, or just hold it closer to me. I don't discriminate as far as my purse/money/and all the other info/stuff in that purse holds, to keep close. LOL

well if I really felt threatened, I'd reverse direction! Switching your purse to the other side is not going to do a thing if he wants it bad enough.

No, I wouldn't do that. First of all, my bag is always closed and held safely. Secondly, I mentally prepare myself for any confrontation but I never show it on the surface. I ain't stupid; you never attract stuff to you before you have even seen the danger. My mom always used to to that and it PISSED ME OFF. Even if he was a potential mugger, you act like a victim, you will become a victim. No, I'd never do that.
