To be honest, I'd fight back for the sake of fighting back. Well, unless their ideas were better than ours, I think I'd be okay with it that way.

I'd say you're talking about Iraq. If you're not, it's a pretty exact description of the situation there. Answer: I'd fight back! That's what the Bathists started to do in Iraq too, but now the situation is a lot worse and much more complex than anyone imagined it would be. Bottom line: No change can be forced upon a people! They have to want to change, and it doesn't matter how strong you are, because they will never change the way they think unless they want to.

as the question implies,'hostile army'.there is no point in you fighting back.once you are dead there is no way for you to know if the changes were good for your homeland.
