Their tummy gets really hard, then normal. Much like us humans. They usually get antsy and can't get comfortable, laying down and figiting.

it's hard to tell. i suggest you leave her in a room by herself and stop peeking at her.your presence makes her very uncomfortable.i'm sure you are quite concerned about her but she needs her privacy. ordinarily,if she was kept in the yard without a kennel,she would go and hide just before giving birth.
