What are the steps you take to maintain the optimum performance of your computer, and how often do you perform them; i.e. clear cache, virus scan, spyware, firewall, etc?

Nada, nichts, ne rien, nihil. The last time I did anything like that was when Norton ticked me off and I switched to Avast. For me, I have learned that the computer works best when I leave it alone. It's when I go messing around with things that it gets cranky. I sometimes defrag the disk, but not lately. lol.
