I heard on TV today that Obama is going to make 100% tax increase for the small businesses. OMG I hope it's wrong. :) But if it's true how soon you think are we going to be thrown into the "swamp"?

Don't know what tax that could be. As most small bus. are not corps. The owner is just taxed on what the business NETs not gross. So 100% on them will be 100% on all.

The facts as I heard them before were reinforced here: http://www.usmessageboard.com/congress/60913-the-truth-about-obamas-small-business-tax-increase.html Obama's plan is to raise the taxes on small businesses with a NET profit of $250,000 dollars or more. Don't be confused as to ones (most of them by the way) that GROSS $250,000. 90% of the small businesses will not see a tax increase. Obama's plan also calls for eliminating the capital gains tax on small businesses. And that is huge. The Republicans should be thrilled, but as usual, they twist the plan into something it isn't.
