Do people have a hard time saying no to you? why? (are you persuasive, do they feel intimidated...)

I don't really ask much of people so when I do they usually will not say no. If I ask in an authoritive manner such as at work they never say no. But I don't have to have everything that I want or ask for so it would be taken ok if they did.
