According to the US Department of Transportation... the numbers are that each year of about 60,000 fatal vehicle collisions and accidents, 80% of accidents belong to passenger cars, SUVs, four wheel and pickup trucks, while a mere 8% belongs to large commerical trucks. A possible explanation for the data is that commerical truck drivers are trained to drive, while the rest of us are handed a lincense after 6 months of stalling the family station wagon...
