I believe in the right to bear arms so yes, I think it's up to the individual to decide if they want to own a firearm.

I am against citizens owning firearms,and please no comments about the second amendment,I have heard it many times.The reason for owning guns in those days was warranted.Times have changed and since the horse and buggy is outdated so is owning a gun.

No, not at all. Why take guns away from citizens so that some asshole that bought a gun underground can come in and rob and/or kill an unarmed citizen! You have a right to be able to defend yourself and your family.

I do not like guns. Guns are used by human beings to kill living things. I would not own one. However, how I feel belongs to me and I would not impose that on anyone else. Happy Tuesday! :)

I'd never give mine up. If that makes me a non-citizen someday, then this place was never worth fighting for.

I have no problem with people owning guns because they will no matter what I think. This horse left the barn ages ago. Laws against them will only create more criminals. Just like the War on Drugs, anti gun legislation will not work. Americans it seems love their weapons. But I also do not beleieve the second amendment was written with how it is being used today as it's main thrust.

For. Criminals will always have access to them. I believe that owning your own levels the playing field.

Everyone who wants to own a firearm should be allowed to one or as many as they wish....As one of our local policeman has said, "It is better to have a firearm and not need it than to need one and not have it!" Police cannot be everywhere all the time. I was raised with all types of firearms and know how to use them properly and will if the need should ariise. My few guns are loaded so I don't have to look for bullets if needed.
