I'm no expert on craps, but in Texas Hold 'em, there is a 'Button' that says dealer on it, and each hand the button moves along to the next player. Since I don't know how craps works (the game was explained to me once in a casino, but confused the hell out of me!), so I don't know whether this could work, but you could try it.

I have played with friends using what I call Paramutual Craps. At the racetrack the odds of winning are determined by the amount of money in the pot. Since I didn't want to be the banker (I didn't want to appear to be taking advantage of my friends), the players would split the "pot" (the total of all chips bought in). Each player would get a percentage of the pot equal to their percentage of all chips on the table. So if there was $500 in the pot, and $1000 in chips at the end of the night, then each chip is worth $0.50 in real money. I find a spreadsheet helps calculate payouts. To keep people from gaming the system, I have established the following rules: 1) The game lasts 3 hours. Setting s definite end time limits people from ending the game when it is at their advantage. 2) Sometimes people go broke and need to re-buy. People can change the chip values when they know the game is about to end. There are no re-buys within the last 30 minutes. Within the last 30-60 minutes, re-buys are at a 20% discount ($5 in real money gets you $4 in chips). I have played while dealing using this method. Hopefully you and your friends can as well. I hope this helps. Have a great time. If you want to ask a question, send me an email: pitboss@REMOVESPAMhow-to-play-craps-tutorial.com PitBoss http://www.how-to-play-craps-tutorial.com
