Hi i am sara . My mom at 2 goldfish but one had a black stip on it's side. And it eat the other 1. So what tiye of goldfish can go to getter ? Can Comet's ,Fan tail Shabankin spotted go to gether or not?

Generally, yes they all can go together. The deciding factor here is size. In order for your goldfish not to pick on each other or become dominant-it is best to get all fish of the same size. The size of the tank is a factor here too. Do your fish have enough room? The generalized sizing for fish to tank is inch per gallon. However big your fish will be as adults, in inches, is how many fish you can put in per gallon. When putting new fish in a tank together, also be sure to move all the decorations around. This will eliminate any territorial rights to certain areas in the tank. I hope some of this helps, good luck.
