When they're not in season they are everywhere. It's like they know when people are out to get them.
-
Yes, at my mothers house all the time. they cross through the development that she lives in.
-
Frequently. They are common around here. ...I was nice and did not say what my first thought was (every time I go to the store I see a few bottles)

Hard to tell which is thicker around here...wild turkey or the damned deer. Never seen a car destroyed by a turkey, though.

I'm in southeast-central Michigan and we have flocks(gagles??herds??) of them around here. They have just started repopulating in the last 6-7 yrs.

-

They are quite common in rural areas here and I have seem them dozens of times. Last Independence Day I was driving in the country and saw a hen turkey crossing the road with about 8 or 9 little chick in line behind her. I stopped to let them pass and it took a few minutes.

Sure Have ...

Many times. We had one hanging out in our back yard last fall. It would fly onto our roof and then into a really tall tree to roost for the night. There are flocks on the outskirts of the city that cross the road in front of you. You really need to stop. At 25 lbs. or so, they could do real damage to your vehicle if you hit one.
-
Many, many times in the area where I live.
-
I have seen flocks with as many as 20 birds - a mile from my home in Pennsylvania.
-
Many, many times. Once, when I lived out in the back of beyond, I had to get out of my truck and shoo a flock off the road so I could get to work. They were so unused to humans and so unafraid that they wouldn't move no matter how much I honked.
-
I've seen flocks of them several times strolling along the golf course when I live.
-
Sure have. Lots of them live right behind my house. I've even seen a few that have been killed by hunters.
-

I have seen plenty of them.

I live in West Virginia so I see them quite often.

Yes and they are beautiful! Even more beautiful on my table before supper! :)
-
Yes and are they quick on their feet. Feathers make for nice tie flys too!
-
Almost daily out across from my house. Lots of wild turkeys here in my neck of the woods.

Real ones? yes,I've had 20 in my back yard. 101 proof ? Yes I've drank it...

I am looking at 5 right now, I think 3 of which are toms
-
YES. Had just moved to rural Missouri from Chicago, was driving in broad daylight on a country road and out of nowhere one glanced off my windshield from the passenger side of the car. A few feathers were in the air, but this big ole bird kept flying about 5' off the ground.
-
yes but not easy to spot.
-
yes, they're huge!
-
Hundreds of them, sometimes at one time. We used to have them all around our ranch in California. They used to roost in the horse barn and tear up the hay bales. What a mess!! There aren't as many here in NY, just see 1-5 at a time, not the huge flocks we had in SLO county.
