  • I believe they are under mythology for a reason
  • I don't beleive if fairies sorry. Maybe it is just that I am a scientist! :)
  • PHILOSOPHY IS DIFFERENT FROM "PARANORMAL"! BE SERIOUS!
  • Certain Traditions of Neo-Paganism believe in the existance of fairies and incorporate communing with them in their ritual/worship/spellwork/meditation/etc. There are those in such Traditions who do claim to see them and I'm not going to disagree with them or their claims for I honestly don't know myself. Other Neo-Pagans merely revere fairies in a more figurative sense as aspects/mythological representations of the four elements in the form of life (along with nymphs, salamanders, gnomes, undines, sylphs, dryads, fauns, etc.).
  • If you've already decided to believe in one invisible spirit (a god, for example), then why not believe in all of them? Angels, devils, ghosts, goblins, fairies, apparitions, spooks, sprites, and specters. Beliefs are free. They require no effort, no research, no evidence. Just believe.
  • Yes, my uncle Tony. He even did the burlesque thing sometimes.
  • I do. But not in the winged tiny people sense. Faeries are, to me, spirits of the world. I'm an Animist, and Faery is the Western word equivalent of the spirits of other cultures, from the Roman Numina to the Kami of Japan. The way most people think of faeries is kind of insulting to me, but what can ya do...
  • I'm pretty sure I laughed at people for believing in fairies since kindergarten.
