I use to work at a large pottery. We use to bring frozen pizzas in and set them near the kiln and they would be done within a half hour.

Yep. I tried to heat up pizza on the dash of my car one time (the vinyl was black). I also heated a biscuit on a coffee machine when a microwave wasn't available.

I haven't done it myself, but I have heard of steaming fish and veggies in the dishwasher. And sometimes it gets hot enough down here in Texas to fry an egg on the hood of a car!

I have cooked in a cast iron skillet sat on top of a propane branding iron burner. Works like a charm !!!! You just have to be careful and not get it too hot.

I've reheated food, wrapped in foil, on my engine block, and warmed crumpets on a travel iron.

I use an electric kettle to boil eggs, when it's supposed to be for making hot water for tea, but that's as out there as I've gotten.
